At Resthaven Funerals our focus is caring for families. During the arrangement we provide an estimate of all costs.

Our pricing structure is made up of our professional service fees, catering, your choice of casket, hearse hire, transfers, and disbursements paid on your behalf for flowers, newspaper notices, toll calls, cemetery or crematorium fees etc. These will depend on your instructions and will be charged accordingly.

Prepaid and prearranged funerals have become more common over recent years. They can be a way of taking anxiety away from your family, or, like many people, you may just like to feel you have organised whatever you can for yourself.

Prepaid funerals are also a way of protecting your assets. As endorsed by the Funeral Directors' Association of New Zealand (FDANZ), Resthaven Funerals is proud to offer a Pre-paid Funeral Trust Plan, a proven and secure means of pre-paying for funeral services. Under current legislation prepaid funerals are not asset tested. Simply, your payment is deposited in a trust fund and can only be used for funeral expenses. Resthaven have brochures and information relating to the plans. We are here to help.
